Audre and James: A Theatrical Jazz Retrospective

A reading of the first meeting of two pioneers in African American literature, lecture, and poetry. Accompanied by music, the performance explores binaries of gender, sexuality, and race and asks whether they have stretched, changed, or shifted in the intervening years. Directed by JeNae' Taylor, experimental sound production by Aj McClenon.
